EquiKing – delivery policy

 

Charges for delivery of your wood pellet equine bedding

Delivery to most areas of the UK is free (see elsewhere for exceptions). All mainland UK deliveries will be ‘standard’ which is 3-5 working days from date of despatch (unless otherwise indicated and additional payment made) and delivered by one of our logistics partners on a pallet using a tail lift lorry with a hand pump truck. (Not forklift truck or grab crane).

IMPORTANT: Hand pump trucks cannot move over gravel, stones, soft ground, soil or non-level surfaces. The driver will attempt to deliver your pallet as close to your required location as possible. However, if this is not possible the delivery will be kerbside or at a safe point.

 

Payment and delivery

Payment in full is required upon order, unless otherwise agreed. Delivery availability time slots will be emailed to you within 48 hours of your order, although in most cases much sooner. Typically, most orders are delivered the next day but always with prior arrangement.

Delivery information

Delivery is free on all orders over £100.00 when delivered via our standard delivery network within mainland UK (excluding some parts of Scotland, the Highlands, mid Wales, Northern Ireland and all islands - if unsure, please ask us before placing an order as these destinations maybe subject to a delivery surcharge). You will be notified of delivery details within 48 hours of payment being received. This notification will include details of delivery and contact details. We reserve the right to change the notification process without notice.

 

Delivery is made Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and you will be required to sign for your order. If delivery cannot be made, then a re-delivery charge of £75.00 per pallet will be levied and charged to your credit/debit card provided.

Returns policy

If you would like to cancel your order prior to despatch, please email as soon as possible team@equiking.co.uk . If we confirm receipt of your request and your order has not been loaded for delivery, a full refund can be issued.

​If you would like to return the bedding you have ordered, after despatch, you will need to email team@equiking.co.uk with your reasoning, this will not impact your statuary rights. You are responsible for all the costs of return or we can arrange collection at a charge (The minimum charge will be £100).  In order to return pellets, all bags must be of the same quality as delivered (i.e. moisture content must be the same as when delivered and the bag intact, no refunds will be given for opened bags or pellets returned in packaging other than the original bags) and the same quantity delivered. Return request must be notified within 24 hours of delivery.

The sale of individual 15kg bags

We do not sell individual 15kg bags as the costs involved make this unviable. However, one of our preferred retail partners may sell individual bags for collection or local delivery. If you would like to become a preferred retail partner, please contact our commercial department on team@equiking.co.uk.

 

Sales to businesses

We sell to businesses, individuals, clubs and all types of organisations. Our customers include individual private owners, small and large stable yards, commercial stables and professional specialists.

Privacy policy

We do not store credit/debit card information, nor do we share financial details with any third parties, other than the processing bank, clearing house or relevant financial institution to enable payment for your order to be processed. We do not share your personal details or address details with any other third parties, other than our authorised delivery suppliers, contractors or employees to enable delivery of your ordered products, in line with our contractual obligations.
